14,500 feet drop, lots of lovely red uniforms and racing hearts, 30 seconds of freefall to scare the life out of you,
followed by a few minutes of the most awe-inspiring feeling of suspension and flying, to raise money for the Chelsea Children's Hospital School, London. All on one of the hottest days of the year – July 17, 2006.
For those of you who sponsored me, I am forever thankful. For those who would like to sponsor me retrospectively, please contact me via the contacts page and I'll tell you how you can proceed. Just to remind you we are trying to buy more computer equipment for the children's wards of St. Mary's, The Royal Brompton and Harefield and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, London, especially for those children in isolation. Certainly any amount is appreciated as I was so, so brave... the Red Devil, Dan, said he'd never been kicked so hard in his ten years of tandem jumps!
You can view the terrific art work produced during the past 10 years on the school's website
