Inagua: an ever-changing ecology - salt lagoons, flamingos and mangroves - tempered with fierce human emotion. As recently proven by unprecedented hurricanes on this southern Bahamian island, the environment and the livelihoods of its inhabitants are under constant threat; many of these paintings such as those of salt mountains show landscapes which simply do not exist any more.
